Ariele M. Huff makes her home in Seattle where for the last thirty years, she has worked as a national and local columnist, a prolific freelance writer, and the editor of twelve periodicals, current columns--Writing Corner and Poetry Corner.

 

Since 1979, she has maintained a busy lecturing schedule, including appearances at the Pacific Northwest Writer’s Conference and Write on the Sound as well as regular writing classes at the University of Washington,several local community colleges, and other venues.

As acquisitions manager for a small publisher and pre-publication editor, subcontracting for Elizabeth Lyon and listed in her catalogue of editors and writers, she has edited/revised dozens of fiction and nonfiction books, including novels, travel and recreation guides, cookbooks, sports manuals, medical and legal materials, children’s books, and poetry anthologies. Credentials include producing radio programs and newsletters for KSER, judging numerous contests (PNWC and WOTS,etc.), MS critique (WOTS, PNWC, etc.), and facilitating numerous writers groups (PNWC, etc.)
